Shimmer Kisses Polish

Tonight I am doing a quick review of 2 Shimmer Kisses Polishes. Shimmer Kisses is a new Indie line and the lovely Ratha was kind enough to send these to me for me to swatch and review! You can find her on Instagram at @ShimmerKissesNP and her Etsy shop: www.shimmerkissesnp.etsy.com
Shooting Star is a unique glitter topper with white bar and star glitters in a clear base. It looks like it would be a heavy glitter but it wasn't really. I had to push some of the bar glitters back down from hanging off the tips of my nails but other than that it was such a fun glitter! I paired it with Zoya Mira. I used 2 coats of Mira, One coat of Shooting Star and one coat of HK Girl top coat.
 -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Candy Pop is my favorite! Its a awesome mix of Pink, Blue, Green, and Yellow hexs in a crelly white base! It applies perfectly! I used two coats of it over one coat of Sally Hansen White On topped with HK Girl Top Coat!

Jolie Polish Naruto Collection

Hello everyone. I haven't posted in quite some time. Been dealing with some things but I am back at it!! And to kick it all off I have the Naruto Collection by Jolie Polish! Naruto is a Japanese Anime and this collection is sentimental to Bory, the amazing creator. You can tell by how awesome these polishes are that she has taken complete pride in her creations!

(sorry for the photo, my light was messing up and my husband fixed it after I had removed it)
First up we have Choji. Choji is a jelly sandwich in a bottle! Its a glitter bomb with a white crelly base packed full of Large and small baby blue hexs, medium light coral hexs, medium and small pearl white hexs, medium light green hexs,  small orange hexs, medium purple hexs, medium red hexs, and light yellow hexs. Like I said: GLIT-TER B.O.M.B. The application is great and it is my favorite polish from the collection. Shown is ONE coat over one coat of white polish.

Above is Hinata. Hinata is another crelly base glitter but this time the base has a lavender tint. It has dark purple and white squares, Large purple hexs, and medium pearl hexs. shown is 2 coats over white. The formula was okay, not bad at all but i did have to fish just a few of the large hexs out. But I like it a lot.
Above is Kakashi and it is another huge awesome glitter bomb! Kakashi is packed full of small silver holo hexs, medium light blue metalic hexs, white square, white bar, micro round black, and light blue metalic stars. Its in a clear base and goes on good with some fishing of the stars out. I really like all the black small glitter in this polish, it really makes the blue hexs stand out. Shown is one coat over white.
Ino, above, is a glitter bomb with micro  hotfax pink and light pink glitters, small grey circular, purple hex, medium holo circular, light pink holo large circles, medium lavender hexs and small light pink hexs. Pretty much this entire collection is a glitter bomb and I LOOOOOOOOVE it! Ino is bomb. This is a one coater polish and I get a little of each glitter each time. All the purples in this polish gives the base a purple hue.
Sakura is like the pink version of Ino. Its full of  light Purple square, large purple hex, small holo hexs, large holo circles, medium, small and micro hot pink hexs, micro holo squares and pink bar glitter. This polish base does have a visible pink hue to it so it is not a pure clear base. Its a one coater like Ino, and is shown over white.
Naruto is a glitter bomb topper that I seriously love because it also reminds me of Fall. Its got small orange and yellow hexs, medium pearl white hexs, and small holo circular. This is such a fun polish. I am a very big fan of the smaller glitters and so this was my number 2 favorite polish from this collection. Its one coat shown over white.
Sasake. My husband always makes fun of me because I can never remember how to pronounce this character, Hahaha. Sasake (pronounced: Sauce-Kay, i think....) is a clear base glitter topper with micro lavender square, black flaky glitter, small and medium pearl white hex, large and medium purple hex, large blue hex, light blue holo stars, and medium light blue holo hexs. Like Kakashi, i had to kinda fish for the stars but the rest of the glitters apply in one coat.
Kushina Uzumaki is the tamest polish from the collection. It is a wonderful peach crelly base with micro hot pink hexs and small pink hexs. its is opaque in two thin coats and my picture does not do it justice. It is absolutely faultless and beautiful. shown is 2 coats no base.

Here are two quick swatches and reviews of a small collection of Jolie Polish, the I Heart my Grandparents collection. I bought these because I have lost both of my grandparents that meant the world to me, that helped raised me and taught me how to be a parent, how to cook. how to do everything.
This is I <3 U, Grandpa. My grandpa's name is Lauren. We called him Daddy Ball. He was such a kind but stern soul. He was hard on you but only because he knew you could do better and wanted you to show your full potential. This is a clear base glitter bomb with holo heart, pink holo butterfly, micro white, small holo hex, black flaky, small pink hex, small pearl white square, small pink squares and some small holo square and hexs that give a blue hue. shown is one coat, i did not get any heart glitters on the nail, I did one coat as is and didnt fish for glitters.

And this is I <3 U, Grandma. My grandma's name is Marie. And she was beautiful inside and out. An old, country soul, she was the type of person that would welcome you in and cook you the biggest meal you ever have eaten in your life, then offer you an entire pie afterwards. There were few things in life she loved. Her family, her dog Tiny and the outdoors. I spent many many summers with her before and after my grandfather passed. She taught me how to cook, sew, plant gardens, anything crafty. She was wonderful. I miss her. This polish is full of micro white, small pearl white hexs, medium holo hex, medium holo squares, holo hearts, pink holo butterflies, and the small transparent holo hexs and squares that give off a blue hue. Its a clear base polish and is one coat shown over white.

It might seem like I had to fish for glitter a lot but this is not an uncommon thing. Its actually very normal for most polishes and I would highly recommend each polish from both collections. She is killing it with her first releases so she obviously has done her research and has taken the time to make high quality polishes. She has a bright future in the Indie world and I seriously can't wait to see what she comes up with next. You MUST follow her on IG at : @joliepolish. also follow her nail sale deal page: @nailthedeal and her personal: @rinoa1107.
Her Store Envy shop is joliepolish.storenvy.com. All these polishes with the exception of Hinata (sold out) are currently on sale for $6.00 each (plus shipping) right now. Kushina Uzumaki is currently unreleased (i feel like super special being the only one other than Bory with this polish.) but it will be released soon so follow her on IG and keep your eyes out!!!

I hope you guys enjoyed all my reviews. Next polishes to be reviewed are my various Lilypad Lacquer polishes (IG: @lilypadlacquer Etsy: www.etsy.com/shop/LilypadLacquer)

My review of @JustRicarda's Glossy Glam top coat!

For this review I decided to use Sinful Colors Dream On. Its a beautiful neon purple but dries Matte, VERY Matte. Shown above is one coat of Dream One over one clear base coat of Duri.
I took this photo immediately after I applied the top coat. It goes on very well, its not thick so it doesn't cause bubbles and is easy to smooth over the nail. Shown is one coat of Glossy Glam over one coat of Sinful Colors Dream On over one clear base coat of Duri.
With in a minute, Glossy Glam was dry to the touch, and with in 3 minutes the polish was 100% dry and did not cause dents or smudges. It still shines wonderfully and absolutely no shrinkage caused like Seche does.
I definitely recommend Glossy Glam. Not only is Rica just an amazing person in general, she makes quality products. Glossy Glam has all the amazing great qualities that Seche Vite does PLUS some. By now I would see shrinkage but none what so ever on my nails after used Glossy Glam. I will be wearing this all day today while cleaning and i will update this post later on to show ya'll how it holds up. I am a mother to 3 children so I am constantly cleaning. Based on the other reviews, it holds up great! We shall see how it does in my environment! Thanks Rica for this amazing product!

Euro Centrale OPI (what polishes from it that I own)

The only complete OPI collection that I own is the Couture de Minnie, so I swatch what I have. Here are 4 polishes i have from the OPI Euro Centrale collection.
You Don't Know Jacques! is a amazing deep mocha brown creme. The application is wonderful and i needed barely any clean up at all. Its an amazing fall brown color. Do you see how shiny this is?! WHOA!. I barely needed 2 coats for this coverage, only because it was a bit sheer on my tips but other than that, its amazing. There is no top coat on it!
You're Such A Budapest is a super pretty bright lavender creme with a shimmer that you can only really pick up when exposed very closely to light. I tried my best to capture it in the micro shot. The application was amazing and only needed 2 coats. Shown has no top coat.

Polka.com is thebomb.com. Its a glitter polish packed full of small pink, purple and blue hexs and micro blue/purple round glitters! I simply LOVE this and it looks great on top of any polish from the collection. Shown above is 1 coats of Polka.com on top of 2 coats of You're Such A Budapest, no top coat!

Last but not least is Can't Find My Czechbook. I adore this beautiful bright creamy blue. Its a creme aqua that has a short of greyish feel to it, ummm i think the term is "dusty". Shown above is 2 coats with no top coat.

I desperately want the remaining polishes from this collection. If you'd like to take a look at the other swatches from this collection (Its the biggest OPI collection I have ever seen) check them out at this link: http://www.thepolishaholic.com/2013/02/OPI-Spring-2013-Euro-Centrale-Collection-Swatches-Review.html

OPI Couture de Minnie!!!!

This collection I LOVE. It's the first collection that I own all the polishes to. I have just 1 daughter and she ADORES Minnie Mouse so naturally, I needed to own these polishes just for that reason alone, but it helps that every polish in this collection is amazeballz. So without further ado!

Up first is OPI Chic from Ears to Tail. This is a soft PERFECT pink polish with very subtle shimmer. It applies amazingly and has the smoothest finish. its very hard to capture the shimmer but I think you can kinda sorta see it in the micro shot I've provided. Shown above is 2 coats, no top coat.

This super fun glitter polish is OPI Minnie Style. Its a wonderful glitter polish packed full of Hex glitters with a little mix of some square white! Some batches also have round white glitters in it, but mine is not that kind. The small hex's are red and white. The red hex's give off a pink hue when in light at certain angles. Shown above is one coat of Minnie Style onto of 2 coats of Chic From Ears to Tail. No top coat.

Probably my favorite polish from the Couture de Minnie collection. Magazine Cover Mouse is a liquid sand and I LOVE LIQUID SANDS! The application is FLAWLESS. I had ZERO clean up with this one. Its a beautiful bright red with gold shimmer textured polish. Like with all textured polish you can add a top coat and make it a smooth finish. shown above is 2 coats, no top coat.

A Definite Moust-Have. The name says it all, it is a DEFINITE must have! This beautiful red-coral creme polish is perfect. With a VERY subtle shimmer undertone, it has a perfect application and super smooth finish. Shown above is just 2 coats, very thin coats. No top coat.

Inne Minnie Mightie Bow is a shimmer red. It goes on incredibly smooth and well. I only needed 2 coats to get this coverage and even with no top coat, its very shinny.

I recommend every polish in this collection. Its just SO perfect. I absolutely love it all so much. Not one of these polishes will disappoint.

OPI Swatch part II

To start the swatches I'll be posting today, this is OPI Shatter the Scales from their "The Amazing Spiderman Collection". STS is a "crackle" polish. As you can see it gives the effect of cracked polish or shattered glass. STS is a dark green with deep blue undertones and quite a bit of shimmer. It dries matte so if you want it to shine, use a top coat. Show is one coat of STS over one coat of Sally Hansen White On, no top coat.

Next we have the last polish that I own from the OPI The Amazing Spiderman Collection.
This is Into the Night. Into the Night is a sheer midnight blue that is somewhat frosty in appearance. I've seen some swatches where the color was much brighter but mine is dark. ITN is sheer, so unlike most of my OPIs, this needed 3 coats. Shown is 3 coats of Into The Night, no top coat.

OPI The One That Got Away is from their Katy Perry Collection. TOTGA is a sheer raspberry shimmer that in the bottle almost looks like a chrome polish but on the nail is completely different. Much like all OPI sheers, this needed more than the usual 2 coats. Shown above is 3 coats no top coat.

Not Like the Movies is also from the OPI Katy Perry collection. NLTM is a greenish lavender duo-chrome. Depending on the angle of you nail, it will look different. It is sheer as well, so shown above is 3 coats with no top coat.

Last Friday Night is by far my favorite Katy Perry Song, but unfortunately its by far my least favorite of the polishes I have from this collection. This polish is more like a glitter topper. It has a very light blue hue on the nail but in the bottle it looks like it would be a bit darker. I do not recommend wearing this polish with no undie, as you can see in the micro picture, it makes my nail look grungy and dirty. Shown above are 2 coats, no top coat or undie.

OPI Swatches Part Uno.

First up we have OPI What Wizardry Is This? from the Oz collection. WWIT? is a "Liquid Sand" which basically means its a "Texture" polish. Now I'm not a big fan of Textured polish but I Love OPI Liquid Sands!! adding a top coat to this eliminates the texture, if you so prefer. Shown is 2 thin coats with no top coat. Its a brown base polish with a gold-ish copper like shimmer.

OPI Which Is Witch? from the Oz Collection. WiW? is a holo glitter polish with hex, bar, circular and fine holo glitter. Shown is one coat, no undie. no top coat.

Below is Which is Witch with a base coat of Sally Hansen White On (best white polish, imo). Shown is one coat.

This is OPI Call Me Gwen-Ever. This is from the The Amazing Spiderman Collection. It is a orange, almost coral colored creme polish. This is 2 thin coats (what I LOVE about OPI, BEST formula!) with no top coat.

Last but not least is OPI Your Web or Mine? also from the The Amazing Spiderman collection. This is a coral-like frost with pink undertones. Disclaimer: I did not photograph this well. But this is once again, just 2 thin coats with no top coat. Its has a chrome-like hue to it.
